This dinner presentation will answer these questions and discuss further considerations and limitations of crown lengthening procedure at posterior teeth.
Due to many reasons, many of our patients break their teeth, leaving us with very little tooth structure available for restoration afterwards. Crown lengthening of posterior teeth is a procedure that aims at exposing enough tooth structure by removing some of the gingival and bony support of the tooth, allowing us to restore the teeth successfully. But, what are the factors that you should consider prior to deciding that this tooth is a candidate for crown lengthening? Also, in the dental implant era, is there still room for crown lengthening procedures for posterior teeth? This presentation will answer these questions and discuss further considerations and limitations of crown lengthening procedure at posterior teeth.
