There are just some things that not all dentists agree on. This dinner will present four of those things. Will they make you change your mind? See the evidence.  Was what was a “controversy” in 2024 become the “norm” in 2034

It is an opportunity to freely discuss the controversies as they exist today.

Topics covered

What every dentist should know about Botox injections for orofacial pain disorders. The good, bad and ugly!

Is it okay to use Articaine for blocks? Yes or No. Hear both sides the debate.

'Why would a Periodontist be recommending laser assisted periodontal debridement?'

The European Federation of Periodontology does not recommend the use of lasers as an  adjunct to subgingival instrumentation. This presentation will discuss why this is the case along with the differences between LANAP (‘Laser Assisted New Attachment Protocol) and laser assisted debridement.

What is infected dentine and what is not? The dilemma of complete caries removal until hard dentin is achieved vs selective caries removal will be discussed in this presentation.
