CPR Refresher Hands-On Course November

This course covers techniques for administering CPR to adults, children, and infants, and is based on the standards and policies developed by the Australian Resuscitation Council.

• Legal Issues
• Infection Control
• Recognise an emergency situation
• Assessing the casualty and recognising the need for CPR
• Emergency action principles DRSABCD
• Plan an appropriate first aid response
• Adult, child, and infant CPR techniques
• One and two person CPR techniques
• How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a nationally recognised training statement of attainment for the HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

Please note: there are three sessions available on the day.

• Class 1: 9am - 11am
• Class 2: 1pm - 3pm
• Class 3: 4pm - 6pm
