FAQ

What should I bring to a hands-on course?

If you are attending a hands-on course, please bring loupes and protective eyewear. You will also need to wear appropriate footwear.

When will I receive my certificate of attendance?

You will be emailed a certificate of attendance after the course.

Do I keep my name badge?

ADAWA promotes recycling, so at the end of the day can you please leave behind your name badge on the table in the foyer.

Which complimentary courses can ADAWA country members attend?

There is a limit of two complimentary courses per calendar year for ADAWA Country Members, held in the metropolitan area only, excluding limited attendance, hands on and dinner courses. This applies to members whose practice and principal residence is in the R3-R5 locations.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

WA Dental CPD will endeavour to accommodate special dietary requests. Please make these requests at the time of booking.

What happens if a program is cancelled?

When circumstances beyond our control prevail, WA Dental CPD reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate or reschedule any program. If this happens, WA Dental CPD will employ reasonable endeavours to notify delegates as early as possible to minimise inconvenience. WA Dental CPD will not accept any responsibility for travel and accommodation costs incurred by the delegates. When a refund is due to a delegate, a cheque or refund to a credit card for the amount paid will be issued within 30 days of notification. In the case of program postponement or rescheduling, the delegate may choose to transfer the fee from the cancelled course to a future program of equal value. In this case, terms and conditions apply.

What is the delegate cancellation policy?

Requests for refunds must be directed to the Director of Continuing Professional Development via cpd@adawa.com.au

  • Hands-on courses
    A full refund will be given for cancellation of hands-on courses made at least four weeks prior to the event. A 50% refund will be given for cancellations of hands-on courses made at least two weeks prior to the event. No refund will be given for cancellations made during the two weeks prior to the event.
  • Lecture courses
    A full refund will be given for cancellations of a lecture course made at least two weeks prior to the event. A 50% refund will be given for cancellations of lecture courses up to one week prior to the event. No refund will be given for cancellations made during the week prior to the course.Substitutions of delegates can occur at any time at no additional cost.

Is there parking at ADA House?

Parking is limited at ADA House. Please do not park in the visitor parking or in the reserved spaces under the building.

Street parking is available until 4.15pm.

There are Wilson Carparks at 27 Mayfair Street and Harvest Terrace.

Can I take public transport to ADA House?

West Perth is serviced by the CAT Bus and Transperth buses.

There are two red CAT bus stop in walking distance: Emerald Terrace and Murray/Gordon Street.

The nearest train station is City West, which is a 15-minute walk up Havelock Street.

Can I eat in the lecture theatre at ADA House?

Food and drinks are permitted in the lecture theatre.

There are water dispensers in the seminar room.

Where is the OHCWA seminar room?

Make your way to the second floor, turn left at stairs or lift, and go through the double glass doors, which are propped open. Turn right and right again into the seminar room.

Is there parking at OHCWA?

Please note there is limited parking at OHCWA.

There is a carpark on the north side of OHCWA (QE2 Metric 4 and5). There is also a multi storey carpark 200 metres north of OHCWA or at theHollywood Specialist Centre 200 metres west of OHCWA. These both require payment.
